Terms of service

These terms apply to your use of freshkorb. ("Freshkorb", "we"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.

1. The service

Freshkorb reads the weekly brochures that supermarkets publish and shows you offers, a basket comparison, meal ideas and a shopping list. It is free to use. We may change, pause or end features at any time.

2. Prices and availability

Prices, offers and dates come from published brochures and may be read automatically, so they can contain mistakes or be out of date. Offers can sell out or differ by store. Always check the price in the shop. Nutrition and diet labels are estimates and are not medical or allergy advice.

3. Your account

You must provide correct sign-in details, keep your access secure and be at least 16 years old. You are responsible for what happens under your account. You can delete your account at any time.

4. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service. In particular, do not scrape it in bulk, overload it, try to bypass security or access other users' data, or use it unlawfully. AI assistants may connect through our MCP endpoint using your own sign-in, within these same rules. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

5. Your content

You keep the rights to your lists, recipes and notes. You give us permission to store and process them to run the service. Share links you create can be opened by anyone who has the link until you revoke them.

6. Third-party names

Retailer names and brochure content belong to their owners. Freshkorb is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any retailer.

7. Liability

We are liable without limit for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, and where the law requires it. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of essential contractual obligations and only for foreseeable, typical damage. Otherwise liability is excluded, to the extent the law allows. The service is provided as is, without a guarantee that it is always available or error-free.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will tell you in the app or by e-mail before it applies. If you keep using Freshkorb after that, the new terms apply.

9. Governing law

German law applies, excluding the UN Sales Convention. Mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live stay unaffected.
